Designing Web-based Workflows with John Maxwell
The changing digital landscape has magazines looking for ways to maximize efforts. The Alberta Magazine Publishers Association (AMPA), in partnership with Digital Alberta, presents the seminar "Designing Web-based Workflows" with John Maxwell, a leading expert on digital technologies in the Canadian creative sector.
John will share ideas for employing inexpensive web-based tools to manage editorial workflows and reconfigure production strategies for both print and digital publications. This seminar, based on a range of research from SFU's Canadian Centre for Studies in Publishing, will introduce the work of graduate students who have been experimenting with online content management systems, in partnership with local magazines and scholarly journals.
